Nayir

Nayir is a Qatari brand specializing in offering elegant and practical essentials suited for daily life. It focuses on high quality and timeless, minimal design. The brand draws its name (Nayir = Glowing) and identity from the beauty and mystery of space, reflecting the concept of foundational elements—just as cosmic elements form the basis of the universe.

THE PROBLEM

Nayir was born out of a market gap for high-quality, culturally relevant wardrobe essentials, especially following the boycott of global fashion brands in the Gulf. The founders wanted more than just a clothing line—they aimed to create a trusted national alternative that felt elegant, timeless, and thoughtfully made. They also needed the brand to carry deeper meaning, with its name and identity subtly reflecting the idea of essential cosmic elements. The challenge was to balance commercial appeal with conceptual depth, translating this vision into a scalable, elegant brand system.

STRATEGIC DIRECTION

We grounded Nayir’s brand identity in the concept of cosmic essentials—wardrobe pieces that echo the elemental structure of the universe. Inspired by the brand name’s cosmic reference, we created a visual narrative that moves from the nebula (the foundational basics) to the star (distinct, expressive pieces) to alignment (a complete, cohesive wardrobe).

The brand system included a custom bilingual logotype, a modular logo suite for different applications, and a color palette reflecting muted elegance. Packaging featured star cutouts to subtly hint at what’s beneath—mirroring the idea of uncovering inner radiance. A brand tone was crafted to carry both everyday confidence and quiet sophistication, always hinting at deeper meaning without being heavy-handed.

OUR IMPACT

Metaphor Translated to Identity: The branding successfully reflects Nayir’s deeper meaning, positioning each item as a cosmic essential—a staple that completes and elevates a woman’s wardrobe.

Balanced Storytelling System: With clear visual structure and scalable assets, the brand now communicates both elegance and depth across every touchpoint—digital, physical, and experiential.

Without a doubt, Khadija has been my favorite designer I’ve ever worked with. It has been such a refreshing experience to work with someone who not only understood the vision I had for my brand, but also met the level of detail I operate in. I would work with her for every project if I could, and constantly recommend her to all my friends!
