People Places & Spaces
People, Places & Spaces (PPS) is a spatial design and research studio founded by Ayesha Erkin. The brand is rooted in creating meaningful connections between culture, community, and design, offering a unique blend of architecture, culinary experiences, and artistic explorations. PPS reflects Ayesha’s dynamic and vibrant vision, connecting traditional and contemporary narratives.
THE CLIENT

Chosen Visual Board
THE PROBLEM
PPS needed a cohesive brand identity that encapsulated the client's multidisciplinary work and communicated it effectively to both corporate clients and her online audience. The challenge was to categorize her extensive body of work while maintaining a unified, culturally rich, and visually appealing identity that aligned with her goals.
STRATEGIC DIRECTION
We created a vibrant brand identity that celebrated the client's vision and cultural roots without relying on stereotypical elements. The design featured color-coded categories, pixelated floral illustrations inspired by her heritage, and a bilingual typography system. Each element reflected the brand’s inclusivity and adaptability, bridging culture and modernity.
The website was meticulously designed and developed to showcase her work cohesively, providing a professional yet approachable platform for her diverse audience. Templates were built for future use, ensuring flexibility and consistency across projects.
OUR IMPACT
Unified Brand Identity: PPS now has a cohesive, visually striking identity that reflects Aisha’s multidisciplinary work while resonating with her target audiences.
Enhanced Audience Engagement: The thoughtful categorization and presentation of her work have made it easier for audiences to navigate and connect with her offerings, fostering stronger connections and increased interest in her projects.
Elevated Perception: The new branding and website positioned PPS as a refined, professional studio, enhancing its appeal to corporate clients and online followers.

Without a doubt, Khadija has been my favorite designer I’ve ever worked with. It has been such a refreshing experience to work with someone who not only understood the vision I had for my brand, but also met the level of detail I operate in. I would work with her for every project if I could, and constantly recommend her to all my friends!
